The main takeaway I have from this book is that I was sorry when it ended. An absolutely whimsical urban gothic tale from Melbourne, Australia, that’s perfect for kids who lean a little darkly (but not too scary). It’s also perfect for adults who leant a little darkly as kids, and are still pretty much geared that way. Uniquely illustrated with a rhythmic prose, it’s an ideal Halloween bedtime story.

Absolutely gorgeous little book for spooky little kids. It’s cute and funny and silly and the illustrations are beautiful, and so nostalgic of Australian suburbia. Love it.

This is such a little gem of a book. The illustrations are magical and take all the scary out of ghosts. My nephew loved it! At first he was a little apprehensive but now he asks me to show him the ghost book all the time. I really love the stories and pictures too.

Charming and whimsical and beautifully illustrated
Gorgeous illustrations, simple reading, funny.
This book made me laugh out loud. Its simple and unique theme gives a a lovely pathway to play with ideas of why weird little things might happen when spending time with a little one (or big one or yourself to be honest!).
